Things that don't rule about tour...

DQ not cooking graham's chicken wrap. He coulda died!!!

We played St.Catharine's tonight....show was totally stacked but no one (I literally mean no one) showed up, which was a huge bummer. So to remedy the situation Daggers and Eaters played a set together going back and forth between each song. It was pretty silly but chaotic as hell...and the guys in the bands all seemed stoked so I guess it was worth it.

On a sad note, tonight is our last night with our new awesome friends in Tonnn. Such an awesome band and even better people. We're going to miss them so much.

P.S.

Day 5 & 6

Oh man tour is fun!! We've been hanging out in Toronto for the last few days and it's been great! Great food (Roti!) and great people (brohouse bros, creeper and tonnn). We played at a cool venue called Siesta Nouveaux. Daggers completely destroyed and kids went crazy for both bands. Check out Creeper, they rule. They have a cursed/black ships vibe. Tonnn was amazing as well. Both bands NEED to come to Edmonton soon!

On the Saturday night we played a house show in Waterloo. The kids who live in this house are really awesome and have a great little basement for shows. Think castle awesome but smaller! We played with Tonnn again. They are now on their 6 week tour across the United States. They booked it totally themselves and it sounds like an amazing tour. Waterloo kids rule. They had a began potluck and a guy named Cam even gave us an introduction. It ruled! Daggers always rule, but the sheer awesomeness was magnified when Taylor broke out a red soccer uniform and velicoraptor mask to play in. Seeing that giant dino grin the whole time made me laugh.

St. Catherines tonight!

Day 4 - Toronto

Toronto is a gnarly city! So many awesome shops and places to eat. We were lucky enough to catch a free Chad VanGaalen and Constantines show on Canada day. Good welcome to the city.

Right now we're in Missisauga (sp?) playing at a little bar called Marcello's. Red Hot Daggers played amazing as usual. Great start to the tour. The kids seemed to dig what we were doing and Whiskey Priest was super rad.

Playing with Tonnn tomorrow! Super excited! Roti rules, no bacon BLT's make my morning better and I'm having a rad time.

Day 2- Tarptard

Dryden, Ontario sucks. In an attempt to find a place to sleep we pulled into the local walmart parking lot to crash for a few hours. Taylor apparently can't sleep sitting up so he decided to lay out a tarp in the ditch beside the highway. Before Taylor could even hit the pillow, the local fuzz were on us. Friggin Taylor!! Haha it was so sketchy looking. Of course the cop told us to get lost...and recommended we sleep in a rest stop a few clicks up the highway. So off we went....

...only to get pulled over by another local officer. He asked me a bunch of questions about the van like "what's with the cages in the windows". We explained that his comrade had already talked to us, to which he replied " oh you're those tarp guys!!". We're already famous in this town!

So that cop told us to drive 3 clicks and park in the rest stop...good advice. So now we're sleeping on the sudd if a dark ass highway 3 kilometers outside of my least favorite town ever waiting for pleatherface to come kill us. Touring rules!!!!

Haha I wish I had photos but I think that may have landed me a night in Dryden prison.

(in fairness to Taylor, I think we were being watched from the moment we rolled into town. Creepy vans attract attention.)

I'm watching burn after reading on my iPod. Life is good.

Free Show!

Free Show at Avonmore on Saturday. Come out.

The rest of the band will hate me for posting this, but whatever, this band is amazing.

We're leaving for tour soon and I'm terrified and excited.
